The Symptoms of Candida
Women may associate the term "Candida" with vaginal yeast infections (also called vaginal Thrush) complete with vaginal itching, odor and sometimes discharge. But males have their own candida symptoms.
Men's or Women's Candida symptoms may include:
- Vaginal Yeast Infection
- Constant fatigue
- Oral Thrush (white film in mouth or on tongue)
- Abdominal pain
- Bloating and indigestion
- Joint pain with arthritis-like symptoms
- Chronic sinus drainage -which antibiotics don't help!
- Weight loss OR gain and the inability to change it.
- Brain "fog" -easily feel overwhelmed by mental tasks
- Fungus on the fingernails or toenails
- Urinary infections (again, not helped by antibiotics)
- red, itching eyes
- Skin rashes on the body (eczema, atopic dermatitis)
- Anal itching
- Rashes on or around the sexual organs
- Hair loss
- Depression from feeling low and "bogged down" all the time.
Candida presents itself differently in every body. You may have just one, two or any assortment of the above symptoms and have this fungal overgrowth condition. It's confusing too, as these can be symptoms of other illnesses as well. Welcome to the world of Candida, where patients have to diagnose themselves unless they are lucky enough to find a medical doctor or alternative health practitioner who has the knowledge to diagnose and guide them through a major Candida Cleanse! The old way to treat this was to go on the very restrictive Candida diet for at least 6 months.
But, there is now a more simple solution for any and all of the above Candida symptoms!
